Kiwi Birdlife Park Queenstown
Come enjoy the sights, sounds and textures of the New Zealand bush and wildlife in our 5-acre sanctuary. New Zealand is home to an amazing array of unique wildlife, the Park allows you to see these animals and learn all about them right in the heart of Queenstown. We have over 20 species of native wildlife on display, including New Zealand's national icon, the kiwi and our living fossil, the tuatara. Most of the animals held at the park are part of nationally managed breeding programmes for conservation.
Park entry includes a Self-Guided Audio Tour (allow 45min), Kiwi Feeding and Conservation Show. The Conservation Show invites you to get up close and personal with free-flying birds while our team of keepers entertain you with their wealth of knowledge and experience. The Kiwi Feeding allows you to have an unforgettable experience viewing the kiwi and learning about these fascinating birds from our qualified zoologists. Don't miss the chance to visit our Café and Conservation Shop. Your entry, purchases and donations support our continuing conservation work.
