Tucked away on the scenic Queenstown Hill, just a short 15-minute drive from the heart of the action, we're a family-owned shooting range that's been igniting passion for Clay Target Sports since 2004.

No need to worry about piloting helicopters or revving up jet boats – we're all about the thrill of shooting shotguns! Armed with the legendary Beretta firearms, our locals are seasoned clay target shooters ready to dial in the coaching to your personal skill level.

At Break One, we're not just a shooting range; we're a community of clay-target enthusiasts. So, whether you're a sharpshooting pro or a first-timer, come soak up the adrenaline, learn the ropes, and aim for the skies. It's time to channel your inner 'top gun' and discover who's got what it takes to claim a spot on the podium. Grab your shotgun, aim, and fire!

    Cancellations made within seven days of the booked activity will not be eligible for a refund.

    Please note we organize staff, transport and timings based on your confirmed group number. If there is a reduction in confirmed group numbers, you will be charged for the original number of people booked, not the number of people that shoot on the day.

    Break One Clay Target Sports reserves the right to cancel Shoots and Activities due to inclement weather, foreseeable hazards, insufficient bookings, or events beyond our control. In these events, full refunds will be made, or alternative dates offered.

  • Activity Upgrades:

    Archery - $30 per person: See if you can nail the bullseye! A great activity for all ages. Includes approximately 20 arrows. Duration: 15 minutes approx.

    Knife throw - $20 per person: A great release for any built-up frustrations! We have a purpose-built solid timber wall, so you're guaranteed not to miss it! Includes approximately 20 knives. The technique is key, so be patient while you learn. Duration: 15 minutes approx.

I had an amazing time doing the clay shooting in NZ I Was picked up on time outside if my hostel & he was like a tour guide on the way there and back. I was given a jacket to wear as it was freezing at the farm and I was taught how to shoot safely. I shot 20/24 targets and I had the best time! This is a great experience and I do think everyone should try it when travelling to Queenstown!!
