Memorable experience!

The beginning with the 100m abseil is very impressive and beautiful! Then, exploring the caves is fun and fascinating! Moreover, the guides Russ & Wayne were friendly, attentive, interesting and knew everything about those caves! I would totally recommend trying this experience, it's awesome. One of the best memories of my time in NZ!! Thank you :-)

Beautiful but very overpriced nature trip

While the lost world itself is brilliant the tour of it is definitely lacking adrenaline with overly protective security ropes. On top of that you cannot bring your own camera and they than have the audacity to charge you $36 for the photos. The guide (ryan) is very nice, helpful and informative though.

I did the lost world tour - 4 hours and it was great. I was scared of doing the abseil. At the end it was a great adventure. I felt save with the guides. It was a awesome adventure and I would recommend it - definitely!

Lost world 4 hrs

I have done the lost world 4 hours abseiling and carving, the nature is absolutely stunning! Very nice guide as well! Lucky me I found a great deal on bookme.co.nz for a backpacker quite a lot of money. But if I didn't had to choose I would have done them all. If I will ever get back to NZ I will defenitely do the canyoning or toobing here! For those things keep in mind that it' a shame when there is not enough water in the caves because of drought. It didn't rain for a while, which made me decide for the tour I did! Great memory and thanks to the crew again! Paula van Asten, Dutch ( review of march 2013)

Challenging adventure and great guide

I was looking for extreme adventure that is still safe and this is it! 100m abseil is a long way down! so not for faint hearted BUT the saftey features are brilliant and basically fail safe so you can enjoy this extreme adventure. Brad is an excellent guide!

AMAZING!

Without a doubt a must do for anyone that is able! The 100 metre abseil was incredible, can't recommend this enough. All the staff were awesome, with plenty of interesting local knowledge and history.
