My family (5)and I enjoyed this tour very much. The drive in was a fantastic experience, enhanced by the encyclopedic and entertaining history of the Skippers canyon, and the Queenstown area. Craig our driver, was courteous, thoughtful,knowledgable, funny and relaxed, making the first part of our experience really fun. As for the jetboating, it was well organised, safe, well piloted and really thrilling, by an experienced and professional, personable skipper.I highly recommend this tour as excellent and entertaining value. At no time did we feel like we were just numbers churned through the mill,they made it really personal, and the scenery going in is spectacular. Just do it.

The day was very wet and cold, however the trip was still amazing. The single lane track down into Skippers canyon was a tad precarious at times, but then again this adds to overall adrenaline rush!! The jet boating was incredible, within inches of the canyon walls at high speed. So fast the rain was hurting my eyes!!! All the staff were very friendly and fortunately very much in control!!!

What a trip!! I am a Queenstown local and have done most of the other jet boat trips around Queenstown and they are pretty much the same, but if you have a whole morning to take in the views of the skippers canyon on the 4 wheel drive down to the river then this is the journey for you! We had such a good time and learned a lot about the gold mining history in that area so this jet boat trip is more than just a ride on a boat, its a whole adventure!! Thanks skippers canyon jet!!

Took the family on a trip to Queenstown. Hade a great time. Made the Shotover Jet prices seem very expensive, especially with the Bookme discount. Craig, the van driver was very entertaining and informative. Chris, the boat skipper thrilled us, but kept us safe. Three hours well spent and we learned alot about early Queenstown!

We thoroughly enjoyed this tour and would definitely recommend it. This Tour has the added bonus of a one hour 4WD trip into Skipper's Canyon along an old road built in the gold rush era which can be pretty scary at times but the scenery is well worth it and the driver is very good. The jet boat itself was lots of fun - this boat operates at the highest point of the Shotover River. The other local jet boats operate much closer to Queenstown, but if you have the time to venture out, this one is great value. Our 4WD guide and jet boat pilot were both friendly and knowledgable and made the trip very enjoyable.

This was a truly fantastic trip to do. We have had several jet boat rides before (including Shotover Jet), this one was by far the most exhilarating. You get a great variety of activities - the 4wheel drive in followed by the jet boat ride, then a bit of history with panning for gold and a conducted tour home.
