Really interesting to view such active kiwis as they are nocturnal and we usually can't see them during the day. The audio tour was rather informative as well.

Very informative, great staff. Fabulous viewing of the Kiwi's and great show. They do a great job and all proceeds go towards their breeding programs for endangered species. Fabulous job!!

Informative and inspiring
My parents and I enjoyed an amazing morning at Queenstown Kiwi Birdlife Park - there was much more to see han we expected and had the weather not turned cold and snowed on the Mountains (mid April) we would have stayed longer however we were under dressed for a day that turned cold ....I thoroughly recommend a visit to the Park for young , old and in-between - the tracks are well laid out with informative and easy to use portable sound systems to describe the various points of interest - very pretty too...

An enjoyable experience
We spent a whole morning at Kiwi Birdlife Park Queenstown and enjoyed our time there. The keepers were friendly and informative and everything was neat and tidy. The recorded information for the self guided tour was interesting and easy to follow as we moved along each section. We can certainly recommend a visit there for any nature loving folk.

Kiwi Birdlife Park

Kiwi Birdlife Park Queenstown
Had a fabulous morning at the Kiwi Birdlife park. Was able to get up close to many of New Zealand's rare and endangered birds and reptiles. The keepers were helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. The conservation show was a real highlight as was the kiwi feeding. Definitely highly recommend to all.

Kiwi Birdlife Park Review, March 2013
The park has lots of great birds, but the visit was just ok. It was great to see a kiwi, but we were not permitted to photograph them. I understand this is so they are not disturbed, but it is possible to take photographs without a flash and without disturbing the kiwis. I also thought that some of the bird enclosures were very small (notably for the Keas) and the layout could have been better.

Bird Park
Had a great day in the bird park, was a rainy day so pretty quiet. The staff were great, very informative and excellent answering of the questions. We were delighted to finally see a Kiwi. Good day out, would have given 5 stars only it is of limited size.
