Another world
Traveling to Waimangu is like stepping into another world. Exceptional, wild, unique, awe-inspiring are just a few of the words that come to mind when thinking about this experience. Definitely worth stopping for a few hours here if you enjoy nature, walking, magnificent scenery and unique volcanic phenomena.

Nice day out
We had a nice day out at Waimangu Volcanic Valley. It's a nice walk with a beautiful scenery in a very natural surrounding. Although it's a bit expensive if you don't get a deal with book.me !

Worthwhile - a must see
Thoroughly enjoyed this great walk with spectacular sights around every corner! Not to be missed - if there is one thermal park to see - I recommend this one.

Waimangu Volcanic Valley
Fantastic Value and an Amazing place. I have been to several geothermally active areas in Rotorua and Taupo and love this one the most. Most of it down hill with a bus ride back up! Fantastic picnic and toliet stop. Really impressed! Clean, clear signage, good self guided pamphlets! Friendly staff both in gift shop and cafe.

Beautiful park with stunning views
It was the first time I booked through bookme and it was so easy. The lady at reception knew we were coming, it went very smooth. The walk to the lake is very stunning. Please make sure you arrive well in time so you don't have to hurry for the bus at the end,because it is really worth to see everything. We didn't do the trail because we had a child with us, but the easy stroll is breathtaking as well. Loved all the colors and the Frying pan lake. Very good experience, and affordable with bookme thanks, I will definitely book again.

nice walk through the valley
The walk was easy and very relaxing. Also watching the birds in the sactuary was really interesting.
