Milford sound
We enjoyed the coach ride from Queenstown to Milford ex Te Anau. Kiwi Discovery took good care of us by arranging a taxi to pick us from our accommodation to take the coach. Very personal service. The driver was very entertaining and provided us good knowledge and ensured our safety on the coach and the road conditions. On board the ferry, we came close to The grandeurs of the waterfalls, it felt great standing close to the falls but you would be very wet. Best experienced it with a rain coat! Also remember to buy pies from Te Anau for lunch just as they turn into the stop area. The venison pie was great! We got a very good deal from bookme. Thank you!

Excellent Trip to Milford
Excellent trip. The driver was great and very informative. Learnt a lot about Milford Sound, the area and New Zealand in general. Comfortable coach. Milford Sound experience was wonderful. Sailed on smallest boat, but found this more personal and able to get closer to waterfalls etc along the way. I highly recommend to anyone wanting to travel to Milford Sound.

The driver (Deano) was really good and very friendly! Had a perfect day! The only problem/disappointment was the not working wifi on the bus.

Great scenery but a long day!
The scenery is amazing and a must see. I recommend this but it is a really long day and in hindsight I may have done a self drive and stayed overnight half way. Bus driver/tour guide was entertaining. The boat at Milford was good as it was smaller than others so more of an intimate experience. The advertised 'glass ceiling bus' didn't eventuate but I can see that this didn't detract from the experience.

This trip was fantastic!! We had a great day the coach driver was very good, he was very knowledgable and was a woderful source of information. The trip on the boat was great too, the staff were excellent!! To top it all we had wonderful weather. It was well worth it. Many Thanks Gill and Andrew Perry

MUST DO!!
Very comfortable bus ride, lots of leg room as advised. The veiws were exceptional along with the great commentary :) The boat cruize was definetly worth the 4hour drive, got to see the seals and dolphins and free coffee and tea onboard which was GREAT!!! Would recommend Kiwi Discovery to anyone going to Queenstown :) LOVED IT!!

Milford Sound Trip
I took this company over the many other tour operators based on reviews here in Bookme. It proved to be the right choice! The trip to Milford sound is 4 hours each way with a break at Te Anau. You won't be bored though as there's wifi on board the bus and Kevin, our driver, gave us good commentary on the scenic route. The cruise boat operated by Mitre Peak Cruises is smaller than the other operators but that proved to be an advantage as we were able to go right up to the various falls in the sound and you could see the dolphins and seals from bow. I highly recommend Kiwi Discovery and worth not 5 but 6 stars!
