Not to be missed!
A fabulous day out with a great guide and some of the most beautiful scenery New Zealand has to offer. Can't recommend highly enough if you like the idea of getting into the bush. The bush is incredibly beautiful - some of the loveliest I've seen - and although I have lived in NZ all my life I still learnt heaps from our guide Pete who took great care of us. Not to be missed!

Routeburn Track
Pete, our guide, was extremely informative and kept us laughing with his dry sense of humour. He offered plenty of information about the traditional uses of certain plant species along the track. On the way back we took a slightly different route which gave us a different look at the scenery and also meant that we got a bit dirty which was fun. The lunch that was included was delicious - chicken sandwiches and some nice warm tea. Just what the doctor ordered on a rainy day.
