Kaikoura Whales
The weather was perfect, Jesse was extremely informative and we managed to locate the whales quickly. We saw 2 separate sperm whales and 11 orcas in total. An absolutely fantastic trip and Jesse was very keen to please. I highly recommend this trip. Thanks for a wonderful experience. Carla :-)

Absolutely amazing
The whale watch was one of the best things I have ever done! We had beautiful weather, perfect clear skies and amazing sunshine. Jesse and Josh were great hosts and Jesse was a great pilot too! The views were spectacular over the peninsula and we got to see not only an incredible sperm whale but also loads of dolphins! It was only my boyfriend and I in the tiny plane with Jesse so we had a private flight! For the cost I don't think you will get a better value trip in New Zealand. Absolutely incredible.

Amazing experience and amazing service!
It's so breath-taking to look at Kaikoura from the sky. I saw two whales today. And the people at Wings over whales are just amazing! I had a good time :-)

Perfect trip
We've seen a whale for minutes and not only the tail but the whole. It was a perfect trip. And also dozens of dolphins.

The flight was amazing!
The flight was amazing.Thank you!During the flight we saw two whales.You can see the whole size of a whale from above!But you have to like flying around in a small plane!

It was ok.
It was a lovely day. we spotted only one whale and that look really really tiny from the plane. i chose to fly instead of the boat trip to avoid sea sick. But when i saw the boats that are so close to the dolphins i felt like i should have chosen the boat trip! Overall its a good experience.

Exhilarating
Decided to have a second try at seeing the whales and this time wasn't disappointed. Pete our pilot, as professional as ever, having briefed a full compliment of passengers, took off a little later than scheduled and was spot on, banking the aircraft alternately to each side so all had numerous views. The flight was enhanced at the end by the hundreds of dolphins we flew over closer to shore just prior to returning to the terminal. A thoroughly enjoyable experience and would highly recommend.

Positive experience
All went according to plan, although briefing video needs improving, as could not fit to screen size. Staff & pilot friendly & efficient. Good whale spotting and plenty of time spent above for photos, video & general watching.

Whings over Whales
The Tour was great. I saw 2 Whales and a cuple of dolphins. THe Crew was really nice. Lots of time to enyoy the great view.

Awesome!
We panicked at first when the weather looked too poor to fly but the guys at wings over whales were excellent. They understood our issues with a tight schedule and booked us in as soon as they could when the weather improved. The experience was out of this world and the helpful and knowledgeable staff were second to none. Thanks WOW!

Great time
Unfortunately we did not see any Sperm Whales; however, our pilot searched long and hard for us. We did see hundreds of Dusky Dolfins doing their best to impress us with their anticks and seals lolling about in the water.

My partner booked and payed as it was a birthday surprise for me! Been able to see a whale and dolphins from the air is a wonderful experience,even if i hadn't seen a whale the view would have been more then enough thanks heaps guys!
