awesome experience for my daughter and myself, great horses and staff that made use feel at ease, the trek over the farm and lake views were spectacular and would recommend for those that are less experienced as myself with horse riding but also giving those that can ride a great time. Horse Trekking - Great
It was an awesome experience being able to ride through the pastures. There were enough experienced riders from the stables to accompany us ensuring beginners know exactly what to do. However, 2 hours was a tad too long and could be physically straining for first timers (not durin the ride but the day after! Backache and muscle aches). But other than that, it's an wonderful experience to try at least once.

Horse Trakking Lake Okareka
This was a fantastic experience. The bush travelled gave an insight to the natural beauty of the land, both native and rural. The guides took extra care as we, my daughter and I did not have riding experience and they made sure our time with them was memorable. The location was excellent and within easy reach of Roturua. Highly recommended.

Well behaving horses, nice people and a nice ride in wonderful surroundings! Pick-up from Rotorua if requested what is very good if you do not have a car. Had a great time!

Best treks ever
A must do. Would definately recomend to others. My family had an awesome time. Friendly staff. Horses well matched. Beautiful land to cross over. So glad we booked trek. A highlight of our trip. Well worth it.

Would love to go again!
Lovely ride on nice natured horses through bush and farm land with great views. Friendly guide who even took her own gloves off and gave them to my young daughter as she had cold and sore hands! Would love to go again!!!

horse trekking in rotorua
Myself & my two daughters used bookme.co.nz to get a gr8 discount for horse trekking at lake okareka! We were greeted by the owner & the girls that took us on the trek they were all very friendly & helpful to those that hadn't ridden before. the trekk was through paddocks & up steep mountains were travelled up & had awesome veiws of the surrounding lakes! we would highly recommend both bookme.co.nz & the horse trekking company! :)

Nice ride with friendly people
my girlfriend and me enjoyed the ride very much. the landscape was pretty nice and lucy, her husband and her staff were totally friendly. unfortunately we couldn´t take part on the whole day tour cause we had not enough time for this, but another couple told us that it was actually pretty nice. and by booking it over bookme we got an amazing price for this. gett well soon lucy. cheers aileen and markus

Fantastic
Fantastic, was kindly picked up from in town, and then taken on a beautiful journey in a small group. The whole day tour sounds great and from how we were handled, highly recomended. Thanks, all the best and we will be back!
