best kiwi house ever
every body visits this centre because of the kiwi an kea . it's really great because you come so close to the animals. the kea's are in a free fligh cage and jump around on the path you are following ! Also in the Kiwihouse you get really close and the birds are not hidden behind big plasticwindows

Willowbank
Had a lovely morning at Willowbank. Only thing was I booked 2 children tickets with my children being 15 and 13. Had to pay an extra 15 dollars as my 15 year old is an adult? Looked up web site. No mention of age. So didnt really get a good deal. Otherwise all great.

Wilowbank Wildlife Reserve
Lovely experience and the weather was in our favour. Everything was great, only concern was that the horse and miniature horses were getting enough exercise as they were rather fat and kept in very small pens. Cheers!

This zoo is kind of ideal for families but me and my boyfriend (early 20s) both really enjoyed it. There are enough animals to see to spend about half a day here and our favourites were the walk through wallaby enclosure and the kiwi house. I would recommend this to anyone, it was a nice way to spend a day!

Great morning out with family
We are from out of town and met some local family at Willowbank for a morning out. The kids (4 preschoolers) all had a great time and the drizzle didn't dampen spirits too much as the trees provided some shelter. Our boy (18 months) was not that interested in the birds and things but loved feeding the farm animals.
