relaxing day in a beautiful place
The tour was well organized and the guides were friendly. There was a good balance between lord of the rings info and general facts about the area. Landscape breathtaking and a nice small group. A nice relaxing day, definitely worth doing!

AWESOME!!
awesome journey to Mount Sunday! THe sun and the missing wind were probably for something but the tour itself is great. Good guide, beautiful road (even if long, but they can't change that). It was not on my plans to do this tour during my stay in Christchurch but now I did it, I would have regrated do not have done it... JUST DO IT!!

EDORAS TOUR is wonderful !
It's a wonderful experience. I enjoyed beautiful nature scenery. And the guider is very nice. I love Newzealand! I'll be come again someday.

A great day
I really enjoyed the Lord of the Rings edoras Tour and can recommend it to anybody. It was a interesting and funny tour and i saw the most beautiful landscape i have ever seen. Thank you for the great day!:-)

Good shit
What can I say? The tour was awesome. Amazing scenery. Del was our tour guide, he was entertaining and informative. LOTR videos and trivia there and back to help pass the time. Running commentary from Del on not just LOTR stuff but NZ stuff too. We did plenty of tours after 3 weeks in NZ and this was one of my personal favourites. Del kept the long drive there and back amusing. We were there before I knew it. Get on it if you're in Christchurch or surrounds.

Lord of the Rings - Edoras
Another brilliant trip. Great fun made even better by fantastic weather and nesting/flying banded dotterels. Driver/Guide was very informative about whole area generally and passionate about Lord of the Rings. Not a film that grabbed me - but the scenery did! He took sword and flag for photo opportunity which made for some fun after a not difficult short climb to the top.

Lord of the Rings Edoras tour
Excellent tour well worth doing. Nothing was too much for tour guide Steve, whose sense of humour and enthusiasm made for an even better experience. Spectacular scenery and LOTR props for photos definitely enhanced the experience. Not just for LOTR fans, a trip worth considering for everyone...these movies have become a major part of NZ social and cultural history. Do it!

Nice trip
Very good guide and a nice view from the top of Mount Sunday (you can really imagine that this was Edoras!), but there could have been more details and videos about The Lord of the Rings. Thank you, I really enjoyed the tour.

Just great!
I can hardly find words describing jutst how great the tour was! Our guide Hammond could give so much information, the little Café we stopped at for tea and lunch was really nice and of course the actual Edoras site was wonderful. I really have no words to describe the view and the beauty of the landscape! You just have to go and see it for yourself!

Memorable and Enjoyable Tour
We went for this tour yesterday and had a really good time with our tour guide Rex. We saw beautiful sceneries on the way and insightful commentary by Rex. We learned so much about the making, behind the scenes and actors of LOTR. Rex is really entertaining and knowledgable, that there was never a dull and boring moment. We stopped at a nice cafe for breakfast and lunch and the food was delicious. We had wine after the short hike up and down Mt Sunday (Edoras). Rex was really helpful in helping me get up and down and made sure we were safe at all times. The amazing view from Mt Sunday is breathtaking. Definitely a must do tour.
