lake taupo evening bbq cruise
A relaxing way to finish the day in beautiful taupo. The bean bag chairs on deck were great. the skipper was excellent and well informed. The quality of the food was excellent - the best potato salad I have ever tasted. A great experience and value for money.

sail away in comfort
Jamie our skipper was a funny friendly guy with a wealth of sailing experience. The boat was beautiful & all the comforts were there-ponchos if we got cold & big comfy beanbags to rest on. The BBQ was very tasty & he also makes a great cup of tea! A lovely 2.5 hours sailing on Lake Taupo that was relaxing,educational & great fun. Highly recommended.

AMAZE BALLS
you guys are awesome felt like I was on the tv show bacholertte hahaha. Have been telling everyone to go and do the BBQ on the Barbary. Want to come back just so I can do it again! Had so much fun and the food was yummy.

A cruise like no other!!!
Me and my friend had an awesome time on the Barbary yesterday.Jamie is just the best! Good company, good music, great views, superb food and exciting sail! Book this one if you decide to go for a cruise on the Great Lake Taupo. Beyond my expectations. :)

Brilliant
Brilliant cruise. So relaxing on the bean bags could of easily gone to sleep. Interesting stories told and got really close to carvings which was good for photos. Would go quite easily back out with the Barbary but I'm not going to be in the area again

Unique and Most Excellent
What a magnificent experience Jamie and Sarah are amazing hosts whom have a vast knowledge of the area. You are made comfortable right from the beginning so you know that everything is going to be amazing We had a full group of local and overseas travellers experiencing something that is unique to this area. Jamie and Sarah served up our gourmet BBQ with a complimentary glass of wine or beer. We capture the sunset whist cruising on Lake Taupo. What topped it off for me personally is while starring at the beautiful starry night sky we sat back in our comfy bean bags watching Fleetwood Mac on the forward sail. Thank you Jamie and Sarah I can't wait for my next adventure aboard the The Barbary

Wonderful, relaxing, beautiful and luxurious.
The cruise was wonderful, so relaxing and luxurious as we departed land with a glass of wine and good music playing. Lake Taupo was so beautiful with the sunlight, then sunset and city lights reflecting in the water as we sailed to and from the amazing carvings. The barbecue was excellent and the music video showing on the sail against the dark evening sky was fabulous. I know where to come when I want to treat someone as the friendly service and the entire experience is impressive. See you again soon.
