Helicopter - U Fly - Be The Pilot - 30 min Flight Rating 100%
Excellent birthday present!
My partner loved it! Given the controls about a minute after take off, great instructor and also given a tour of the larger helicopters in the hanger. Taken down the Waimak River and into paddocks to practice controls. Fab 30 min!

U FLY!
I decided to book 'U FLY' as a birthday present for my partner. We did have to change the date a few times because of the weather. But finally we had a perfect day to go. He absolutely loved it. The only negative thing would be that time went quick and he wanted to stay in the air longer. The pilot was fantastic, explaining how it all worked and made it so i could get some cool picture while they were in the air. Highly recommend this experience. Now my partner want his helicopter licence! :)

U Fly - "Be the pilot"
My experience at first was not that great, due to the weather my trip was cancelled, I had to turn up to find this out, i was told I should have been rung. Communication needs to be improve in this area, being on holiday I planned my trip around it. With a lot of phone calls and flights being grounded due to the weather, the trial flight happened. Decided to give it a 5-star rating on the flight only. The staff looked after me, the trainer was excellent, made sure I was comfortable before taking of etc, the flight was 10 out of 10, better than flying a plane. Then one of the staff took me to the airport to catch my flight home, what a service. All smiles all around Julie

Want a Helicopter now!
This was a last minute booking and the weather was perfect. My instuctor/pilot (Aaron) communicated very well, the controls and their function were clearly explained and after take off I was allowed to fly the helicopter - but needed rescuing when trying to hover! Aaron was a very competent pilot/instuctor and apart from a little nervous perspiration I never felt worried. I would recommend this without reservation to anyone with an interest in aviation. Now thinking about lessons/PPL - might have been a very expensive day.
