Step back in time and discover a slice of New Zealand's pioneer heritage with a visit to the vintage Caterpillar Experience.
Rather than being in a stuffy shed, thirty lovingly restored classic vintage tractors, diggers, bulldozers and trucks are set amongst native bush and realistic settings at the unique museum.
The amazing collection dates back to the early 1920s and includes some rare, one-off machines that can't be found anywhere else, all to be discovered at the only endorsed Caterpillar museum in the world.
Wander around the rows of iconic equipment, and take in the specially scripted story of how these antique machines helped hardworking Kiwi pioneers shape this country's rugged landscape.
