Waitomo Adventures - St Benedict's Caverns
Exciting, beautiful, challenging, but surprisingly gentle. This spectacular three-hour caving adventure comprises of abseiling (rappelling), zipping down the flying fox, walking and scrambling through the prettiest piece of known cave in New Zealand.
This trip suits a wide range of people - especially those not wanting to be too physical.
You'll encounter spectacular shafts to abseil down, some of the most awesome cave formations (stalagmites and stalactites etc.) and flowstone.
You need: 3.5 hours of spare time, comfortable outdoor clothing and a pair of socks.
No experience required.
We supply Overalls, gumboots and all specialist caving gear.

Requirements: You must be reasonably fit, at least 12 years of age and able to fit through our cave crawl squeeze test. All children under 15 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian or mature adult known to the child and aged 18 years and over.
Price:$173 per person
(Price valid from 01 October 2011 till 30 September 2012)
Duration: Approximately 3.5 hour's (depending on group size) from pick up to drop off.
Trips Depart: 10am and 2.30pm daily from Waitomo Adventures office.
