Pauline Beekhuis said... As I live in Dunedin and had a friend from Auckland visiting, we decided to take a tour through Olveston Historic Home. I had been through years ago, but wanted to show my friend. What a treat! We were both fascinated and thrilled with the home itself and the treasures on display. Everything is in immaculate condition and the guide was extremely well informed and able to answer any questions. She was very friendly and relaxed and made the tour most enjoyable. Staff on the front desk were also excellent even under the pressure of several bus loads of visitors. I will be taking any future visitors for a guided tour of Olveston. It is one of Dunedin's 'must see's'.
