A great way to spend the morning.

The visit was excellent. Also great value for money. Even though it was raining i thought it added to the experience, it made it more mystical. I felt like we were transported back to another time. The walk to the waterfall was not disappointing, it was beautiful. The 1886 settlers would have seen the same view. Anyone thinking of going should make the time. NZ's own little Pompeii. Fantastic. And we were given umbrellas too and staff very friendly.

    Thought provoking yet beautiful

We visited the buried village on our honeymoon and had a wonderful time wondering the yards and learning the history. Beautiful stream leads to the most wonderful waterfall. So picturesque. Highly recommended.
