Impressive scenic flight
We booked at 3PM but the staff allowed us to join 1PM flight then they could fulfill the flight capacity and we did not have risk from 3PM flight cancellation on unmet minimum flight capacity. While I was there, they allowed only to fly from Fox. There was no flight from Franz Josep anymore so I needed to change my plan to Fox earlier to catch the flight even I booked Franz Josep. Stunning view during the flight for both Glaciers in departure and returning. The snow landing on Mt Cook was magnificent. we landed on fresh snow with clear blue sky. 10 minutes there was worth.

Fantastic Experience
Some people had recommended that we not only take a helicopter up to the glaciers, but also go for the longest ride. I had never been too keen on the idea, but my wife was really into it. So glad we did it. Completely different appreciation of the mountains and glaciers. Did a landing and 40 minute ride. We will never forget it. Plus it was smooth and comfortable flight. Great experience!

Around Mount Cook - NOT ??
After researching the different flight paths, we decided on the 40 minute flight because it went around Mount Cook as well as landing on the snow and viewing Franz Josef, Fox and the top of Tasman Glacier. BUT what happened to flying around Mount Cook? It didn't happen. I would fly with a different company next time so I get what I thought was paying for. Apart from that, the flight was brilliant with stunning views and perfect weather.

Fantastic Trip
I booked the trip as a surprise for my parents who have spent the last few weeks travelling around NZ. They loved it! they said it was the best experience they've had in the time they've been away and would definitely recommend it. The pilot was great and provided commentary throughout the flight and the view of the top was amazing, A****

Awesome proposal!
Mountain Helicopters were kind(/awesome) enough to smuggle a small bottle of champagne and some glasses so I could propose to my (then girlfriend, now) fiancée in style :-) Highly recommend this company, friendly people, good service, awesome flight!
