Hotel Description

The Riverstone is Canterbury's only 5-star motel (awarded by Qualmark - the official NZ tourism quality assurance organisation). All accommodation is ensuite and we are only 20 minutes' drive from Christchurch Airport. Our rooms feature studios, suites and apartments with flat-screen TVs and well-appointed kitchenettes Guests at the The Riverstone can benefit from air-conditioned rooms with double glazed windows. All rooms have a shower and some have also a bath. Facilities include luggage storage and laundry services. The motel also provides rooms for guests with limited mobility. Rangiora is the gateway for the Waipara Valley’s vineyards and the popular spa destination of Hanmer Springs. Free private parking and free WiFi are available on site.

Pets: Only registered 'service animals' are allowed to stay at The Riverstone - other pets are not permitted in the rooms but can stay in the guest's vehicle providing they are not a nuisance to other guests.

Electric vehicle charging - Guests cannot charge their electric/hybrid vehicles at The Riverstone. Our building insurance specifically does not permit this. There is a charging station available at Pak'nSave next door and at the BP service station on Flaxton RoadPlease inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.
