Located on the lakefront in the centre of Queenstown, Absoloot Hostel Queenstown offers rooms with private bathrooms. Guests enjoy free unlimited Wi-Fi access in their rooms. Absoloot Hostel Queenstown offers a choice of private rooms and dormitories. Every room is equipped with heating/air conditioning and security card entry: All guests have access to a communal kitchen and laundry facilities. Guest access and security are provided 24 hours a day. Guests can make use of the games rooms with satellite TV. There is also a tour desk that can arrange a host of adventure activities. There is secure bike storage in summer and ski storage in winter. Transport to the ski resorts and adventure activities are just a 2-minute walk from the hostel. The Gondola is a 5-minute walk from Absoloot Hostel Queenstown.

Any guest under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Guests travelling with children under 18 must book the entire room they are occupying.

We do not allow children in shared environments; guests who do not abide by this policy will be required to upgrade to a private configuration. If none are available, then our cancellation policies will apply, and the party will not be able to stay.

If you need to check in after reception closes (currently 21:00), you will need to contact us to organise this, and we will need to take payment for your reservation in advance.

Unfortunately, due to past incidents, we regret having to inform you that we do not allow ‘stag’, ‘buck’ or ‘hen’ parties and motorcycle ‘gangs’ at our accommodation. Any reservations found to violate this rule will be asked to leave without a refund.

Some of our private rooms and dormitories are available in multiple configurations (e.g., a 4-bed dorm may also be sold as a twin, triple, quad, or family room). While only one configuration can be booked at a time, the system may allow multiple bookings for the same physical space.

If you are booking multiple rooms, please contact us first to confirm availability and ensure there are no double bookings. We will do our best to accommodate your group and prevent any issues.

Please note that all guests booking the 6-Bed Female Dormitory Room need to provide a valid passport at check-in.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
