Groups of more than 6 people will be refused/declined. Adventure Q2 is a small property and large groups have a negative effect on the hostel's atmosphere. Any booking that is suspected to be for 7 or more persons will be refused check-in.
Covid Policy
Positive Tests
As per New Zealand Government stipulations, in the event of a guest testing positive to Covid-19, you will need to self-isolate for 7 days at your own expense. You will be required to proactively find other suitable accommodation and be financially prepared to cover this cost. Our hostel is not equipped to offer self-isolation due to the shared living nature of hostel life. As per our refund policy, there are no refunds for Covid-19 reasons (with the exception of the government closing the border, which is unlikely). We urge all guests to ensure they have suitable travel insurance.
Masks & Face coverings
Face coverings indoors are not mandatory for accommodation providers. Due to the communal and social nature of hostels, wearing a mask indoors may be impractical. Therefore wearing a mask is to be a personal choice for each guest including staff who are, simultaneously, also live-in guests of the hostel.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.
