One of the best experience of my Trip.

Hi we had a very great experience. All thanks to Craig our guide and dear friend. Just one thing we missed was sunshine rest all was just awesome. From briefing us about the kayaks and all the details then getting us suited up and the way up to the beach. All good. The kayak trip was awesome. And the water mirror finish. Crystal clear just Fab. At the end we went to Adele Island where we saw a group of seals so many of them. Playing in water dancing fighting and laughing. It was all just awesome. Made my trip.

    Abel Tasman Kayaks

Brilliant day out! We did the afternoon half day. Lunch was supplied with refreshments. The highlight was ripping out the sail and making a raft with our kayaks. We got some speed on! Daz, Jack and the team were fantastic.

Nice afternoon but not what I was expecting

I was probably expecting more individual adventure kayaking into small coves, beaches, caves around the shoreline of the NP that can't be accessed by hikes. We had tandem kayacks (I was teamed up with a young girl that didn't really know how to paddle so I felt like I was providing most of the oar power & steering whilst she splashed around). Instead we went directly out to the seal island over open waters which I felt was a bit dull & time consuming. Seen enough seals in my life to not be enthused by them. So we pretty much taxi'ed to a close beach (I thought we may have gone deeper in the park), had lunch, waited quite a while for other boat passengers to arrive which used up another hour, kayaked out to the island and then flotilla sailed together back to shore which was cool for first 5 mins and then the group decided we wanted to kayak as that is what we paid for. I think the young guide whilst friendly and informative was keen on taking the faster, more effortless route as she had been doing it daily for weeks so she was tired. So it was ok bit not really a memorable or what I was expecting.
