Heading off from Marahau on a guided kayak tour we make our way up to Observation Beach taking in the beautiful sights of the Abel Tasman coastline.

Your scenic paddle will take you past dozens of golden sandy beaches, sea caves, reefs and two islands which make for fantastic photo opportunities.

Then back onto dry land where you will enjoy an easy self-guided walk back to Marahau along the headlands and through native fern gullies.

Wir buchten die Southern Blend Tour mit Kahu Kayaks direkt zu Beginn unserer Ankunft auf der Südinsel und haben eine wirklich tolle Erfahrung gemacht. Wir waren nicht ganz sicher, ob wir eine geführte Tour machen wollen, waren aber letztlich sehr froh darüber, dies doch so gebucht zu haben. Unsere Gruppe war klein (4 Personen), die Tour sehr persönlich und der Guide war wirklich top (angenehm zurückhaltend, gut informiert und man hat gemerkt, dass er seinen Job liebt).

Wunderschöne Tour mit Robbensichtung

Die Tour hat mir unheimlich gut gefallen. Wir waren nur zu zweit mit unserer Guide aus Kanada an diesem Tag, weshalb sehr viel Zeit für Erklärungen zu den Meeresbewohnern und Vögel blieb. Wir haben einen Rochen, Robben und verschiedene Vögel gesehen. Das Wetter war traumhaft und das Meer sehr ruhig. Die Wanderung zurück war etwas länger als gedacht, was allerdings an meiner körperlichen Fitness lag :) Alles in allem eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich unbedingt weiterempfehlen kann!

Super Organisation, freundlicher Guide und auch für völlig Unerfahrene eine chillige Kayak-Our entlang den wunderschönen Stränden. Wir sahen Rochen, Robben und viele nistende Vögel. Super Überraschung war der Mochaccino und Flat White am Stillwell Beach. Unser Guide hatte dazu extra alles einschließlich Frenchpress mitgenommen. Rundum tolles Erlebnis!
