Excellent aviation collection

My second visit (the first was 7 years ago and the WW2 exhibit didn't exist then) I love the dioramas with the aircraft (both those by Weta workshop (ww1) and the on site team (WW2) as they really help tell the story, both of the aircraft and the people flying them. Lots of interesting information too.

Never disappoints

Second visit first one, third for another and first for some and it never gets boring. Dangerous skies a must do add on. The 8 minute experience at the end was a real and chilling reminder of the losses faced.

Aviation excellence

Walking in I assumed I was just going to look at a few parked up airplanes. However wrong was I, totally blown away as soon as you step inside the exhibit. The dioramas were amazing and brought everything to life. This is a must do experience even if you’re not into planes.

Amazing!

I am not an aviation person, but the displays of Peter Jackson and Weta workshop, make this a real highlight for anyone. The masterpieces they create are breathtaking. The realness of the displays and the statues are absolutely mind blowing. A must visit.
