Discover stories of WWI & WWII in these stunning exhibitions at Omaka Aviation Heritage Centre.
The Knights of the Sky exhibition features Sir Peter Jackson’s own collection of World War I aircrafts and artifacts and brings to life the story of aviation in the Great War. The sensational sets were created by the internationally acclaimed talent of WingNut Films and Weta Workshop.
The second exhibition, Dangerous Skies, features stories from World War II, with tales of daring, valour and tragedy stretching from the British Isles to the forests of Germany, an embattled but courageous Russia and the Pacific Islands. One of the star attractions is a Griffon powered Mk.XIVe Spitfire.
The exhibition features stories of female pilots and the Battle of Stalingrad is an immersive experience that is both entertaining and chillingly thought provoking.

A great little find.
This was an excellent unexpected find. A must for all even if your not an aircraft enthusiast its interesting and inspirational.

Amazing
What a gem of a place! A must do in Blenheim. The staff are very informative and the stories and settings bring it all to life. You can tell Sir Peter Jackson the film maker was behind it all.

Incredible display
Even if you’re not really into planes or WW1 and WW2 history, this really is so thorough and so well displayed, one can’t help being fascinated! If you ARE into this sort of thing, allow yourself loads of time. There’s a lot to see and very helpful staff who can tell you about things. Highly recommend

Brilliant Museum!
Brilliant museum definitely a 5/5, if it wasn't for bookme though I would not have gone, simply because the standard entry price is obscene.
