Beautiful Track!

I had done a few walks on Abel Tasman but so far this has been one of the best ones I did. We took our two year old son with us on this 3.5 hours walk one way. The trail was really good with really great views! Of course the weather contributed a lot as we did it on a sunny but cool day. I recommend this to those who wants to see Abel Tasman in a day and would like to enjoy a few hours sitting by the beach and just take in all its beauty. Overall, the staff and crew were very helpful and we cannot wait to come back soon to try camping.

The perfect day trip

From checking in at Wilson’s at Kaiteriteri-Sandy beach to returning back it was a wonderful day trip. The itinerary gave you 5 hrs to complete the walk to get back in time for your boat home. That is plenty of time for a 11.5 k walk/ hike. We are fit 28/30 year olds but we walked very slowly through the Tasman taking in the sunshine, surroundings and sounds of the birds and water . Was just perfect . Highly recommend

Wilson delivered!

Very nice service, friendly and smiling, and good explanations about the area while on board. The boats are quick, in good condition and on time. It is the park itself that disappointed me a bit- having experienced so many amazing tramps and seen so many incredible vistas in my stays in NZ, Abel Tasman did not make it to my Top 10 list. But it certainly is a pleasant activity suitable for all ages and abilities. The timing calculated by Wilson was just perfect to finish the main route, the side trips and have a quick lunch on the beach!
