My husband and I booked the kayak tour in Marahau our honeymoon vacation in October 2025. The tour took us along the coast of the Abel Tasman National Park for about 3 hours and ended at the Observation beach – a paradise of golden sand, rocks and a fantastic view. We had a longer coffee break at the beach before we headed back to town on the Abel Tasman Coastal Track. The track was just wonderful to walk, easy and with beautiful views on the numerous bays. Since we took our time observing the nature we needed about 3 hours for the way back (approx. 11 km).
Our tour guide created a relaxed atmosphere with his easy-going and humorous nature. He showed us the area where sea lions live and we got to see some jellyfish. Also he told us about the history and wild life of the region. The tour was one of the best activities we booked during our vacation in New Zealand.
