The place itself is quite small and lives off the cuteness of its inhabitants, several sheep, pigs, alpaka, donkeys and similar animals. Please don't mistake this place for a zoo, its more of a educational farm with enclosed shop and shows. The show itself was really entertaining, we were shown two sheepdogs with different approaches to their task, some interactive shepherding games and even a live shearing of one sheep before the kids got to bottle-feed some lambs. Visiting the farm and seeing the show should not take more than about 3 hours, if you can make time for it and are in the area have a look!

I went on this tour as an afternoon activity and enjoyed my time. The skipper was funny and open to communicate if you want to but was also happy to just let you relax and have some pizza and a free drink. Considering this and the 2:30h sail the pricing is more than fair. Sadly we didn't have the best sailing weather so we had the supporting engine on most of the time and it was a bit too cold for the swimming stop, which would have probably added to the experience. The rock carvings itself are a good but not spectacular sight, though I was disappointed by their short age (1970s) as I expected something more historical. All in all this trip is really good value for money for anyone interested in sailing Lake Taupo!

I was lucky enough to go on a private tour with Geoff and it was a very pleasant time, he had a lot to tell about the surrounding areas we passed on our way to the Tarawera Falls, which made up for the quite long distance you have to cover to get there. As soon as we got there I explored the hiking trail on my own and while the falls were a great sight, I was just as amazed by the way itself with some of the clearest water I've seen in my life and beautiful NZ-style forest. I hope you can keep on offering these tours in the future, it's a really special place which should be enjoyed by many more people to come!

Easily the best sailing experience of my life! We were picked up by Matt on the beach and taken to his catamaran, which was supplied with comfortable cushions all over. As soon as we got out of the Bay he turned off the engine and we just went with the winds and got to relax. The route is similar to the other sightseeing boats around Whitianga, we visited Cathedral Cove and the marine reserve, where we also stopped for swimming and snorkeling. To add to the experience he offered us fresh coffee and selfmade cake, what a perfect way to start your day! Thank you for this awesome trip which I can wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who visits the Coromandel peninsula.
