Join us on a small group day tour from Auckland to experience the magical Hobbiton movie set where The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit trilogies were filmed.
Your experienced guide and driver will pick you up from central Auckland and provide a full commentary on the way to Hobbiton, stopping off along the way for those that wish to indulge in a second breakfast from a local cafe.
On arrival, you will have time to visit the shop and get a bite to eat before your guided tour.
A Hobbiton tour guide will take you around the movie set on a walking tour to see the 44 Hobbit holes, the Party Tree and the home of Bilbo Baggins. There will be an opportunity to have your photo taken outside of one of the Hobbit homes. Take in the beautiful views of the village and the surrounding farmland.
Once you have worked up an appetite it will be time for lunch at Shires Rest Café and to finish off you will be taken to the Green Dragon Inn where you can enjoy a complimentary ale, cider or ginger beer.
To top it all off you will receive a $10 souvenir voucher to spend at the Hobbiton gift shop!
Our guide will be ready and waiting for you to bring you back to Auckland.

Fantastic Day Tour To Hobbiton
This was a wicked trip to Hobbiton and back from Auckland. Comfy mini van, very clean and tidy. Due to the current situation there was only 2 of us on the tour which made it feel like a private tour which would normally be more expensive. The tour guide was amazing, so funny, friendly and full of wicked stories about New Zealand. The actual tour of Hobbiton was a dream come true for me and will more then likely go back for one of their special events. Hobbit holes, amazing scenery and a cider to end the day, what more is needed. Great tour and I recommend for anyone looking for a wicked day out!!
