Gliding on a Segway is a fantastically fun and novel way to take in the best waterfront views Auckland has to offer.

A Segway is a self-balancing electric two-wheeled recreational device that is easy and fun to use. You ride in a standing position, offering elevation above walkers for a great view!

Your adventure starts with a thorough Segway training session by one of our exceptional guides who will provide one on one, on the spot training until everyone is confident and capable before the tour commences.

Make sure you have your camera at the ready to capture the magnificent views including Westhaven Marina, our iconic Harbour Bridge and Waitemata Harbour.

  • Allow approximately 1 hour for the whole experience

Restrictions

  • Minimum age: 12
  • Minors (12 - 18 years) must be accompanied by an adult on the tour.

  • This experience welcomes families with children.

Bad Weather Refunds

  • If your experience is cancelled by the operator (because of the weather or anything else out of your control) you will be entitled to a full refund.

Notes

  • Minimum rider weight of 45 kgs (100 lbs) and a maximum of 120 kg (264 lbs). Larger Segways available if you weigh more – please contact us to arrange prior to departure.

    Riders must be able to quickly step on and off the Segway unassisted (requires physical abilities similar to climbing and descending stairs without assistance/use of a handrail). Riders also need to be able to stand for long periods of time.

    For safety reasons, pregnant women are not allowed to participate in our Segway Tours.
