Enjoy this thrilling experience, uniquely kiwi, sustainable fun, Blokart Landsailing at Velocity Karts. You’ll get full instruction, safety equipment and guidance on the track during your session.
Blokarts are compact wind powered land sailing craft, thrilling to pilot, fast and fun yet easy to learn and very safe, like a go-kart with a sail.
Harnessing nature and the famous Canterbury Winds our skilled team will have you sailing in no time. Race your friends and family with no motor, just natures own power!
We will customise your kart to suit your level of confidence and conditions with 4 different sail options for each blokart.
Velocity Karts has the only purpose built blokart track offering year round rentals in NZ and the Southern Hemisphere. Situated close to the coast we are well positioned for the predominant on-shore breeze and all other winds.
Blokarts are one of the most accessible adventure type activities for all abilities and our team love to help people with special needs join the fun with family and friends. Ages 8 to 80+ sail alone with tandem options available (additional $10.00).
This experience offers a supervised Blokart session of approx 1 hour incl instruction at our Christchurch site. Please allow up to 1.5 hours for the whole experience.

A faire si vous n'avez jamais fait de char à voile
N'ayant jamais fait de char à voile je voulais tester les sensations. Et bien c'est top! C'est très bien pour les débutants et ça donne envie d'en faire sur des grandes plages à pleine vitesse!
