What a wonderful experience. Flying through the mountains and landing on the glacier in the ski plane was surreal. We had such beautiful weather and the views were amazing. We even saw a small snow avalanche on a nearby mountain range. The chopper flight off the glacier was as equally exhilarating. If you get the chance to do this experience don’t hesitate. We highly recommend it.

It’s a scam. They advertise as a 45 minute helicopter and ski plane flight. But if they don’t book enough people for the next flight then they cancel it and lie and say it is due to the weather. I only found this out because the helicopter pilot said so when I questioned why the ski plane was cancelled due to bad weather but the weather was absolutely perfectly fine!!!! If the weather was so bad wouldn’t you cancel both flights? And my friend who was booked in for the same package 2 hours after mine went on both the helicopter and the ski plane flight, it wasn’t cancelled because it was booked out with enough people. Absolutely disgusting false advertising. Don’t offer this service at all if you know you’ll cancel a portion of it if there’s not enough people. You shouldn’t allow the booking to be available when you know there’s not enough people for the ski plane, and then to lie to your customers and tell them it’s due to bad weather.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are very sorry that your experience left you feeling disappointed and frustrated. We do acknowledge that minimum passenger numbers do apply to all of our flights. This is a standard condition of our flights and is noted both on the booking platform through which you made your reservation and in our confirmation emails. However, we acknowledge that our usual standards of communication do not appear to have been upheld in this instance, and we are very sorry for this. We understand how the lack of clear communication around the cancellation or rebooking of an experience could have caused confusion and frustration. We take this feedback seriously and will be following this up with our team to ensure we continue to provide our guests with the clear and helpful communication they should expect from us. When weather is a factor, we can understand why it may be confusing that the helicopters are sometimes able to operate while the ski plane can not. We hope we can provide some clarity around this, as the two aircraft have quite different capabilities, operating limitations and requirements. The ski plane, in particular, has specific requirements for operating for snow landings and take off- The condition and suitability of the snow landing surface are important factors in determining whether it is safe. Wind conditions are also an important consideration, as they can affect the approach and landing of the aircraft. These requirements are quite different from those of a helicopter, which has different capabilities and may be able to operate safely in conditions where a ski plane cannot. Mountain conditions can also change quickly, so conditions at the time of one scheduled flight may be quite different from those experienced by a later flight. We hope this provides some clarity around why the helicopter and ski plane can have different operational outcomes, and we are sorry again that it seems communications to you around minimum numbers were not more clear at the time.
The Ultimate Alpine Combo with INFLITE Mount Cook was an amazing experience. The scenery was stunning and the glacier landing was great. The main downside, however, is that the overall experience depends heavily on where you are seated, despite everyone paying the same price. I was seated at the very back on the right side, and the view was clearly not comparable to what passengers at the front (or left side) could enjoy. As for those seated in the middle, their visibility was very limited. We did get the chance to switch seats on the return flight, which was definitely appreciated, but the difference in experience between seats still feels quite significant. That said, it was still an amazing experience overall and one I would recommend.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and for your recommendation. We’re delighted to hear you enjoyed the stunning scenery and glacier landing during your Ultimate Alpine Combo experience with INFLITE Mount Cook. We appreciate your feedback regarding the seating. Seating on our aircraft is allocated based on strict weight and balance requirements, which are essential for the safe operation of the flight. We understand that different seats can provide different viewing perspectives, and we appreciate your understanding that these allocations are necessary to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone onboard. We’re pleased that, despite this, you still had an amazing experience and would recommend us. Thank you again for your feedback, and we hope to welcome you back for another unforgettable alpine adventure.

First Time Ride
Although it was first time for us, the way the operator handled was very much appreciated with consent of Safety and Comfortable. This was our most memorable experience for us and top of our list. Both Staffs and Pilots are very friendly and informative.
