Everything went great! Nice vehicle, drove well.
$1 relocatable cost me $480 for insurance and petrol over the 4 days. It was a Brilliant way to spend 4 days though. Would do it again! The side mirror didn’t work though and I found that quite dangerous.

Great way to see the country
I was impressed by Lucky Campers. I had read some reviews and was a bit hesitant but I got a reasonably recently converted Estima van that drove like a dream up the country. The customer service was great too as they were able to move my booking by one day and then booked my ferry for me too. Just one thing to note is that you need to pay for a set of sheets and towels in addition (I think it was about $25) unless you want to bring your own. I've used other companies where it's been included. Overall I would definitely do it again for a solo adventure.
