Family Rafting and Jet Boat Ride – HANMER SPRINGS
A family rafting adventure is the best way to see the Waiau Gorge Canyon and surrounding countryside.
Marvel at the twist rock, water holes, pink marble rock and fault line features. In clear water you may see salmon and trout swimming by as you float past.
Relax and listen to our qualified guides as they pass on their knowledge of the river, its nature and folklore. Your Hanmer Springs Attractions guides will also give you full instructions on the rafting techniques to use during your trip.
Leap out of the raft and go for a float, - but make sure you are back in the raft before the rapids!
At the end of your raft trip you return on our thrilling jet boat ride.
Our Hanmer Springs rafting adventure is suitable for people of all ages, but children must be able to fit the safety gear to participate.
We supply you with everything you need for this Hanmer Springs activity and ask that you bring your own swimwear, a towel and a sense of adventure!This is sensational family fun.
Children : 13 years and under.
Rafting is suitable for ages 6 and up, however it is essential children are able to fit the safety gear.

They provide great deals. Rift rafting(grade 2) and Jet boat combo was an awesome and Blissful experience we had at Hanmer Springs. Lovely location too for the medium spirit adventure freaks. Had great time and it was one of our favourite things we did during our trip to New Zealand. Have recommended friends who are visiting NZ to add this in their plans.
