Weka Pass Horse Treks is nestled amongst beautiful farmland less than an hour from Christchurch city, and 40 - 45 minutes from Hanmer Springs. They provide top-notch tutors and guides, to give you a fun, safe trekking environment for you, family and friends.
Our horses are friendly with good manners, and each rider is matched with a horse to suit their ability and experience.

Amazing
Was our first time on horse and was amazing. We loved it. The guide was very patient and helpful. The horses were well behaved and easy to ride. Highly recommend.

Amazing time
We had an amazing time with a wonderful tourguide. The horses are beautiful And easy to ride as beginners. I would recommend these guy’s For sure!

An amazing experience
Really good fun on the rides. Jane & Melissa are so patient with us 'newbies'. Horses- Quiz & Billy have such good temperament & made the whole experience enjoyable. View from the hilltops are so amazing. Thoroughly recommend going horse trekking with Jane!

Awesome experience
It was my first time riding and both the horses and the staff were awesome! Beautiful landscapes and quality time! Absolutely recommended!

Eine schöne Nachmittagsaktivität
Wir haben unseren Ritt mit Jane und Melissa genossen. Für einen Reitneuling und eine Reiterin, die 20 Jahre außer Übung war, war der Trek gerade richtig. Die Landschaft ist beeindruckend, die Erklärungen zu den am Weg liegenden Maori Höhlenzeichnungen interessant und die Pferde verfressen aber gutmütig.
