Welcome to Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa.
Relaxing rock pools, soothing sulphur pools, cascading pools, and an array of water jets and bubbles - at a range of temperatures.
For the kids (and kids at heart!) we have four hydroslides, including New Zealand’s longest waterslide, Conical Thrill, activity pools and a lazy river.
We're excited to introduce the debut of Violet Vortex and Waiau Winder. These innovative slides have taken the place of our cherished older beige and green slides. Our latest slides feature cutting-edge LED lighting and projection technology, enhancing the thrill factor and crafting a unique adventure!
Entry price includes all outdoor pools and slides.

Perfect on a cold night!
We headed to Hanmer hoping for snow. It didn't arrive until after we left but we had a fabulous night anyway. The pools were not crowded at all, which really helped. The water was very relaxing and inviting. The facilities were very clean and the changing rooms warm after a cold walk from the water to get dressed!

Amazing visit to the Hotpools
We had an amazing experience at Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa! The facilities were excellent and there was something for everyone — we especially enjoyed the relaxing sulphur pools, exciting slides and the deep pools. The facilities were very well maintained, with plenty of shower rooms, toilets and changing areas. The women’s bathroom also had hair dryers available, which was a thoughtful and convenient touch. A perfect place to relax and have fun — we would definitely visit again and highly recommend it to anyone coming to Hanmer Springs!

Winter fun
Went mid week in early winter, there for opening time. My husband and I had the waterslides to ourselves for ages. After relaxing time in the pools and cold plunge, we hit the slides again with no queues. The best fun for a couple in their sixties :-)
