Welcome to Hanmer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa.
Relaxing rock pools, soothing sulphur pools, cascading pools, and an array of water jets and bubbles - at a range of temperatures.
For the kids (and kids at heart!) we have four hydroslides, including New Zealand’s longest waterslide, Conical Thrill, activity pools and a lazy river.
We're excited to introduce the debut of Violet Vortex and Waiau Winder. These innovative slides have taken the place of our cherished older beige and green slides. Our latest slides feature cutting-edge LED lighting and projection technology, enhancing the thrill factor and crafting a unique adventure!
Entry price includes all outdoor pools and slides.
For those who wish for a taste of luxury - try the private pools, sauna, steam rooms, and the luxurious spa. It's all here in an atmosphere that cannot help but reset the balance in life…

A nice treat at a good price
We booked for 10am on a Tuesday morning, we were amongst the first there and it never got very busy due to being a weekday. It was bliss! It's my third visit to the pools and would highly recommend going midweek if you can for a truly relaxing experience. Once you're in for your booked time you can stay as long as you want :)

Hanmer Spings
What a beautiful town that makes you feel like you're overseas in some mountain town in the winter, the locals do tourism well, are friendly and theres plenty of shops to wander around throughout the town. Massage and hot pools, lap pool and hydroslides are amazing x

Best way to spend a lazy cold afternoon
The facilities were awesome, pools well maintaned and clean and not too crowded!! Only issue we had was that we didn't read the map and missed a whole section of pools - clearly we were content with what we had! My husband left his rash top and when we came back the next day it was dry and folded and waiting, now thats better service than he gets at home!! 100% recommend to anyone spending time in Hanmer.
