  • Aoraki Mount Cook Airport, Aoraki Mount Cook, South Canterbury. 1.5 hours drive from Tekapo or 3.5 hours from Queenstown

Notes

  • Minimum Numbers: Flights are confirmed with 4 adults. Single bookings are welcome, but are waitlisted to confirm.

    *Alpine landing (November-May) and a snow landing after our first snowfall (May-Nov). This does not include a glacier landing.

  • Please Note: Customers 116kg and over will only be able to fly pending weights of other passengers on the day at check-in.

    Getting Here: We operate from the Aoraki Mt Cook Aiport (3.5 hours drive from Queenstown, 2.5 hours from Wanaka, 1 hour from Twizel, 1.5 hours from Tekapo, and 4 hours from Christchurch).

Leider die Erwartungen nicht erfüllt

Ich habe hinten in der Mitte gesessenen und habe während des gesamten Fluges keine einzige Chance gehabt den Mount Cook zusehen. Und es ist super eng zum sitzen. Die Landung im Schnee war ok und die einzige Möglichkeit Bilder zumachen. Aus den Heli heraus waren leider keine guten Bilder möglich. Mit Abstand der schlechteste Rundflug den ich gemacht habe. Es wird nicht darauf geachtet, dass alle Passagiere einen guten Blick auf den Berg und die Change auf gute Fotos erhalten. Bei anderen Flügen wird darauf geachtet, dass alle Passagiere einen guten Blick auf die Attraktion bekommen (z.B. bei den Victoria Falls fliegt der Pilot eine 8 um allen einen optimalen Blick auf die Falls zu ermöglichen). Ich kann den Flug nicht empfehlen!!!

Pure Begeisterung

Mein Erlebniss war absolut Begeisterung. Ich bin Pilot und habe schon viel auf dieser Welt gesehen und bin begeistert. Ich bin entspannt angekommen und war offen ein schönes Erlebnis zu haben. Ich hab Zeit mitgebracht und es kann schon mal passieren dass gebuchte mitfliegen es zeitlich nicht schaffen und dann kann es Verzögerungen geben. Das ist bei mir geschehen und ich war offen für was passiert. Ich wurde dann einer anderen Gruppe angeschlossen und habe dann einen "upgrade" erhalten und bin mit dem Huschrauber auf den Gletscher hochgeflogen und bin mit dem Fluzeug runtergeflogen. Beide Flüge waren Phantastisch. Sehr nette Menschen rundum die immer das Interesse des Besuchers im Sinn haben. Ich kann es mit vollem Herzen weiterempfehlen.
