With the Hamner Springs Double Dare Combo, you'll get to experience the following two activities:
Jet boat on the Waiau River: Speed down the Waiau River with your expert guide reaching speeds of 90kmh per hour while navigating whitewater rapids, braided shallows and narrow gorges. Soak up breath-taking scenic views and experience the ultimate thrill as the Hanmer Springs jetboat executes the famous 360 spin - a must do kiwi experience!

Claybird Shooting: Fire away and perfect your shooting skills on our epic clay bird shooting course next to the stunning Waiau River. No experience is needed - this is suitable for all levels from beginner to the seasoned hunter! Our licensed experts are on hand to teach you the basics or help you perfect your skills ensuring you can simply enjoy and have a tonne of fun!
Duration and Restrictions:
Jet Boating - Allow 1 hour total duration. Minimum age is 3 years.
Claybird shooting - Allow 15 minutes per 10 shots. Minimum age is 16 years.

This was a fabulous experience. I booked for our family and close friends for my 50th birthday amd it was a high lite of our weekend in Hanmer. Our driver was calm and made us feel assured of our Safety and funny and informative. Beautiful ride with thrills along the way. Photo to purchase at the end. My husband had been on the jet boats in Queenstown but said this was way more beautiful river and scenic.

Really had an awesome time on the Jet Boat! It was a very scenic ride down and up the river! You might get a little wet so highly recommend taking a rain jacket. And clay target shooting was really awesome! Had a great time with friends and family! highly recommend you book this adventure when you're in Hanmer Springs!
