A great animal park and did see the Kiwi bird Then had the Maori show alwhich was fantastic after the show we all had the Hungi which was absolutely delish and plenty to around .would definitely recommend this on your bucket list here in Christchurch .
Overall its an experience you have to do if this is your first visit to NZ. To learn of the Maori culture and way of living was interesting. The nature walk was good and seeing Kiwi for the first time tho we could only see shadows of kiwi due to their habitat. The performance was OK too. The hangi dinner was great - the meats so tender, some of us went back for seconds. Our family enjoyed it.
The group was too young to be impressive. Way too many people (tourists) on the experience
Both the tour of NZ native wildlife and the introduction to Maori culture were well done. High energy dancing, melodic singing, chanting with brief commentary on the significance to the culture were very interesting and entertaining. Buffet was decent given the requirements of feeding a large group- hangi meat was delicious.

Hangi
The staff were friendly. The performance was a lot of fun. Disappointing that the hangi wasn't visible.
