Starpendous!
At the top of a very long and winding road we reached our destination. Thrilled that it was clear enough to proceed with the astronomy lesson / star gazing we were so excited. We were a small group of 6 - and loved the intimacy we were able to have with Luca. He was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about teaching and guiding us. No question was a stupid question. He thought of everything providing blankets, amazing telescope, binoculars, seats and warm tea on a very chilly night. We all truly enjoyed our experience and woul;d highly recommend this evening activity.

Amazing stargazing over Akaroa
Luca was a wonderful guide and very knowledgeable. We had a lovely clear night after a cloudy and raining day, so we were very lucky. Loved learning about our solar system and the Milky Way - Luca‘s enthusiasm for astronomy was infectious, and he kindly allowed us to photograph the moon through his telescope. Would highly recommend.

night wonders
Tour guide was very friendly, passionate and knowledgeable. Even though we had quite a few clouds all of the sudden we saw mars, jupiter and it's moons and had a closeup of the full moon. Even without the sights, the information and stories from the tour guide alone made it worthwhile. A fun and new experience for us!

We had an amazing tour with Luca, who told interesting stories about the sky in a funny way, with plenty of time to look at the stars and moon whilst staying warm with a cup of tea

Akaroa stargazing was wonderful
It was a great experiance and I definitley recommend it for people who come to Akaroa. It is very nice and you can see the stars very clearly.
