Lucky us. Awsome experience!

We were so lucky to see the beautiful stars very clearly. We have no basic understanding of astronomy in fact so we didn't even know what the English guide talked about at the beginning😅 But fortunately, a Chinese guy came help us and introduced in detail. Very happy and satisfying experience anyway. Highly recommended.

Great even without the stars!

My new husband and I were in Tekapo for 2 nights when there was 100% cloud cover. We had booked the hot springs star gazing and had very low expectations about the experience due to the cloud. However, the guide Dan was so good and appeared determined to ensure that we had a great experience. He gave us info about astrology, Maori mythology and we did a vertual reality look at space through individual headsets which was a first for us! It was so lovely to lie in the hot pools at night and bob around listening to stories about the solar system. Highly recommend this even if there is no stars!
