Disappointed

Hot pools good and got to see stars. No star gazing though. Would have preferred star gazing first than pools after to listen to stories Was meant to be on 1215am tour. Staff contacted to advise earlier better weather so agreed. I felt staff wanted to finish early because skies were clearer at 12pm

Thanks for your feedback. We're glad you enjoyed the hot pools and seeing the stars, but we're sorry the experience didn’t meet your expectations. Occasionally tour times or formats may change for operational reasons, as outlined in our terms and conditions. We appreciate you sharing your thoughts and will pass this on to the team.

It was amazing

It really was something else we were lucky enough to see the blood moon eclipse (which was needed because if there’s a full moon you don’t get to see many stars) and get some awesome photos of it through the telescopes provided. The tour head was amazingly insightful and full of knowledge and the hot pools were amazing.

So well done

Unfortunately the stars were blocked by clouds but that didn’t matter because the story telling by Megan and her friend while we relaxed in the hot pools on floating hammocks was superb. Harvey the manager greeted us too and we had everything we needed, from towels to robes to drinks and then we were treated to an incredible virtual reality session to see the stars and then some.’honestly it was like we were right among them. I’ve never done that before and I don’t feel I missed out on the stars at all in fact I would say it added to the experience. Well done team. You have a well oiled machine.

Thanks so much for your wonderful review! We're so glad to hear you still had such a great experience despite the cloudy skies. Megan and the team will be thrilled to hear your kind words. It’s great that you enjoyed the storytelling in the pools and the VR experience — it really is an amazing way to explore the night sky when the stars are hiding. Thanks for joining us and for the lovely feedback! ✨

Great experience under the stars

Great experience soaking under the dark sky reserve. The pools were quite warm so you cant really feel the cold, and the guide has funny annedoctes and astronomical knowledge to keep you entertained. The second half of the tour is a bit more chilly, but it was nice to see the stars up close in such a different area of the world.
