Food to desire
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Exceptional in Every Way! Town Tonic is an absolute gem. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, knowledgeable, and attentive without being overbearing. The menu is creative and beautifully seasonal — every dish we ordered was a work of art and packed with flavour. You can tell there’s real care in the kitchen. The wine list is thoughtful, with some fantastic local options, and the cocktails are top-notch. Stylish, modern vibe with a relaxed feel. Easily one of the best dining experiences in Christchurch. Can’t wait to return.

Good Experience
Great food and service. Food came very quickly as well which is a +! Compliments to the team and chefs.

Underwhelming
Very average experience. The entree’s were tasty Ceviche was good. Both the mains were very underwhelming and such small portions it was ridiculous. Both were bland and baby like. I wouldn’t go again unfortunately.

Great Food, Great Staff, Great Experience
Highly Recommended- Food was delicious, staff were very nice and over atmosphere was very pleasant. I will definitely eat here again

Absolutely delicious
4 of us dined before a show. We were quite chatty and took a bit long to order. Unfortunately 3 of our shared dishes took a very long time, and we had to chase them up. One dish ended up not being taken down and we had to leave without it being readded. It was delicious but the two vegetarians in our group were left still hungry with the item forgone. It was noticed the vege meals were a fair bit smaller than meaty dishes. It was delicious overall and the staff were really friendly.
