The Mount Cook – Alpine Vista Scenic Flight with Alpine Landing was hands down one of the highlights of my trip to New Zealand. From the moment we took off, the views were nothing short of breathtaking — endless snow-capped peaks, dramatic glaciers, and that unreal turquoise glow you only see in photos… except this was real.
The alpine landing was pure magic. Stepping out onto the snow surrounded by the Southern Alps felt surreal and incredibly special. It’s one thing to see Mount Cook from the ground, but standing up there, completely immersed in the landscape, is an experience we will never forget.
A huge shout-out and thanks to our pilot Sam, who made the flight exceptional. He was incredibly skilled, calm, and knowledgeable, pointing out landmarks along the way and sharing fascinating insights about the region. His professionalism and passion made us feel safe, relaxed, and genuinely excited the entire time — you could tell he truly love what he does.
Everything was perfectly organised, smooth, and friendly from start to finish. If you’re even thinking about doing this flight — do it. It’s worth every second and every dollar. An absolute must-do when visiting Mount Cook. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
