Itinerary

  • Depart from Port Chalmers wharf at 10:00 am. (Cruise ship passengers only)
  • Depart from Railway Station front steps at 10:30am (all other non-cruise passengers)
  • Travel along the scenic harbour road with photo stops.
  • Visit the University of Otago, New Zealand's oldest university.
  • Conquer Baldwin Street, the world's steepest street.
  • Enjoy views from Signal Hill lookout over Dunedin and the Otago Peninsula.
  • Explore Dunedin's City Gardens and historic precincts.
  • Break for lunch and shopping in the Octagon.
  • Tour ends at 2pm at Railway Station and returns to the ship's wharf for cruise ship passengers by 2:30 pm.
