Excellent paddle

Saw lots of seals sea lions and albatross. Save your money on the albatross center and kayak instead!

A nice afternoon's kayaking

I took my partner who is a novice (her 2nd time in a kayak and first time on the sea). We kayaked at a leisurely pace to just past Pilots beach, where the little blue penguins come ashore at dusk, up to where there was a shag breeding colony. The guide pointed out an albatross on its nest, but it was high up, so effectively it was a white blob. Some shags came flying very low by. Quite a few seals on the rocks & one lolling about in seaweed. We actually saw one of the little blue penguins on the way back and also a big stingray just under us in the shallows. Tea & cake in the adjoining roadside café afterwards. Excellent afternoon.

Terrible Kayak Tour

Don't waste your money on this tour as not worth it at all. Very little commentary and input from the guide who seemed to want to spend time just going out for a paddle for himself. Most of the time is spent just paddling as we did not see much wildlife at all. When we finally got to an area where there were a couple seals the guide quickly went on and spent virtually no time there. Look elsewhere and take a different tour.
