Climb aboard The Seasider for a spectacular coastal rail journey from Dunedin. This 3-and-a-half-hour experience hugs the edge of the Pacific Ocean, revealing rugged cliffs, sweeping beaches and charming seaside communities from a perspective few visitors get to see.

Choose a shorter scenic option with a stop at Arc Brewery or continue to Merton for extended coastal views. With live onboard storytelling and refreshments available from the café carriage, this is one of the most memorable ways to experience Dunedin's coastline.
