Pride of the South since 1876, the Speight’s Brewery and the Beer we produce are an icon of Dunedin. Share our journey, by taking the recently redeveloped tour. During your 60 minute experience you will touch, smell and taste your way through this heritage site. Share the history of our three founders, and what brought them together to create the South’s most popular brew.
We start at the top of the Brewery and slowly make our way back to the Tasting Room, located on the ground floor (please note that there are over 200 stairs on this journey) - along the way you will meet the key characters and ingredients that forged the "Pride of he South". Mot only will you touch, smell and taste the core ingredients that go into our Brew you will learn about our diverse heritage and technical brewing process.
Finish of with a 15 minute tailored tasting in the “Tasting Room”, and then find your perfect beer to take home at the Cellar Door.
